A bit about us…
Established in 1987, Blue Rider began producing vacuum formed kits and high quality decals for the early period of military aviation history. Our 1/72 scale range subsequently expanded to cover subjects in 1/48 scale and 1/144 scale.
In 1995 we began publishing Insignia Magazine, a quarterly publication for the aviation modeller and enthusiast, with an offbeat and esoteric focus. As well as the magazine, we have been publishing a series of Air Force Specials, Colour Guides and our latest series of Decal Monographs.
Alongside our main range, our Fictional Decals range has provided a popular seller, with the focus on aircraft from Hergé’s Adventures of Tintin. This has led to our series of books that comprehensively cover this subject in both English and French.
Our magazines and eBooks are also available to purchase on the digital publishing platforms Blurb and Payhip.
